Technical Support Coordinator - AIHC Conference

The Technical Support Support Coordinator oversees AV equipment, livestreams, and presentation logistics. This role ensures sessions run without disruption and provides assistance to speakers and attendees as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with venue staff for technical requirements.

  • Set up and monitor AV equipment, livestreams, and recording tools

  • Support speakers with presentation setup.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues on-site.


Qualifications:
Required:

  • Familiarity with AV and streaming equipment.

  • Technical troubleshooting skills.

Desired:

  • Prior experience in technical support for events.

  • Familiarity with Zoom, Teams, or other virtual platforms.


Location:

Online / Virtual

In person during conference days (Edmonton, AB)


Estimated weekly time commitment:

  • 3-5 hours per week during the planning phase (up to 4 months before the event).

  • 20+ hours during the week of the conference, including potential full-day availability for event promotion and management.

  • Time commitment estimates are flexible depending on evolving event needs
