Speaker Liaison - AIHC Conference
The Speaker Liaison invites and schedules speakers for the conference. You will manage communication with invited speakers. ensuring they receive schedules, presentation instructions, and logistical details. You will also prepare a shortlist of back-up speakers in case of drop-out.
Responsibilities:
Invite and schedule speakers for the conference
Communicate with speakers before the event to confirm participation.
Provide clear guidance on deadlines, formats, and expectations.
Share schedules, technical instructions, and materials.
Support Q&A sessions and coordinate speaker needs during the event.
Collect post-event feedback from speakers.
Qualifications:
Required:
Strong professional communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail when managing schedules and requirements.
Desired:
Experience in event or hospitality roles.
Familiarity with academic or professional conferences.
Comfort with presentation platforms (PowerPoint, Zoom, etc.).

Online / Virtual
Estimated weekly time commitment:
3-5 hours per week during the planning phase (up to 4 months before the event).
7-9 hours per week in the final 2 months leading up to the conference.
20+ hours during the week of the conference, including potential full-day availability for event promotion and management.
Time commitment estimates are flexible depending on evolving event needs
