Funding Manager
Funding Managers will work to secure financial support for the organization’s activities. This involves researching funding sources, drafting proposals, tracking deadlines, and following up on applications. Funding managers will work closely with AIMSS leadership to prepare and prioritize finding applications, and will work to build relationships with sponsors and donors. The role is well-suited for individuals who enjoy research, writing, and organization.
Responsibilities:
Research and identify grants and funding opportunities.
Lead the drafting and editing of funding proposals and applications.
Track deadlines and maintain a funding calendar.
Document application outcomes and maintain records.
Support outreach to sponsors or donors.
Coordinate with the leadership team to align funding requests with organizational goals.
Contribute to reports for funders as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
Experience preparing successful funding or grant applications
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and delegate tasks.
Strong writing skills
Desired:
Previous experience with fundraising for not-for-profits
Demonstrated networking skills
